Indications: For the temporary relief of backache, joint pains, muscular aches, headaches. Directions: Do no take for pain for more than 10 days or for fever for more than 3 days unless directed by a doctor. Adults and children 12 years of age and older: Take 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours as needed, up to a maximum of 12 tablets in 12 hours, or as directed by a doctor. Warnings: Reye's syndrome: Children and teenagers should not use this medicine for chicken pox or flu symptoms before a doctor is consulted about Reye Syndrome, a rare but serious illness. Alcohol warning: If you consume 3 or more alcohol drinks every day, ask you doctor whether you should take magnesium salicylate or other pain relievers/fever reducers. Aspirin and salicylates may cause stomach bleeding. Unless directed by a physician do not use: * if you are allergic to aspirin or salicylates * if you have ever had n allergic reaction to any other pain reliever/fever reducer * with any other product containing aspirin or any salicylates * with other pain relievers/fever reducers Ask a doctor before using if you have: * asthma * gastric ulcers * bleeding problems * stomach problems (such as heartburn, upset stomach or stomach pains) Ask a doctor before use if you are taking prescription drug for: * anticoagulation (thinning of blood) * diabetes * gout * arthritis Stop use and ask a doctor if: * ringing in the ears or loss of hearing occurs * pain or fever persist or gets worsenew symptoms occur * redness or swelling is present If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product. It is especially important not to use salicylates during the last 3 months of pregnancy unless specifically directed by a doctor because it may cause problems in the unborn child or complications during delivery. Keep this and all medicines out of the reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, seek professional assistance or contact a poison control center immediately.
