It is good to know Carbolated vaseline can still be purchased . I was raised with it and it sure would take the soreness out of a cut, split or whatever. Put a bandaid on your finger and the throbbing would be gone in short order.
I think it was a mistake to take it out of the mainstream. It was affordable relief.
